An international pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima is visiting parishes in Clonmel this week and arrived in St. Oliver's this afternoon.
The statue, which has come directly from the shrine in Portugal and has been blessed by the Bishop of Fatima.
It is one of 12 statues which is travelling across the world to mark a century since Our Lady first appeared to three children in the Portuguese town on May 13, 1917.
Father Ailbe O'Reilly, a priest with the Order of the Holy Cross in Austria, helped organise its journey to our school in association with the World Apostolate of Fatima in Ireland.
