Letter from Ms Mahoney
Dear Parents and Guardians.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas and New Year. I am sure the break was well-
needed for everyone. We are returning to online learning once more. On a positive note, most of us
have been using Google Classroom and Study Ladder so hopefully we can continue successfully.
I hope to make the online learning process as easy and stress free as possible. I understand it is not
the ideal situation for everyone but hopefully it is only for a few weeks. We will continue to use
Google Classroom and Study Ladder as our main source of contact. Fortunately, most of the children
brought home books at the Christmas break, anyone who has not we will make provisions for books
to be collected.
I will assign suggested work for each day. Some tips that may make learning from home easier if
your child is finding it difficult to settle into the work, designate an area and set a specific time each
day for school work. Try and stick to this time each day as much as is possible. It will give children a
sense of consistency. Pick a time that will suit your home situation and something you feel is
manageable. I would also suggest tackling the tasks at home in one sitting and once the work is done
put the school work and materials away.
If you have any concerns or need to reach out please do not hesitate at all. My school email is

Kind regards,
Hollie Mahoney
