Letter from Mrs. Mulhern
Mid May already, the time is just flying.I hope you all received your IXL certificates and colouring picture in the post - delivered to you by snail mail! Many of you have been very busy practicing and achieving mastery in your maths skills - with some even heading into the challenge zone.Don't forget to checkout your smartscore. Aim for 80 , 90 is excellent and 100 sends you into the challenge zone.If you reach the challenge zone, congrats, but don't forget to take breaks and return to the skill later if you are finding it difficult. You will find suggested skills for this week on your recommendations page. These will include Properties: questions S.2 and S.4 and Mixed operations: T.10 and T.11.If you have joined google classroom only recently, don't worry about trying to catch up, just find the most recent assignments and work from there. Also, don't forget to check out your virtual rewards on studyladder, lots of people have received gold, silver and bronze certificates there, with more prizes up for grabs, including ribbons, stars and trophies. We will continue reading our novel "Air Raid!" (from Oxford Owl ebook library ) this week and I am looking forward to hearing your opinions of it.We will try some more artwork so...... lots done and lots more to do,
Take care,
Mrs. Mulhern
