Letter from 1st class teachers
Welcome back 1st class!
I hope you all had a great Easter holiday and you didn’t eat too many chocolate eggs! Unfortunately we cannot go back to school just yet.
You can start Week 2 in your work packs on Monday 20th April. There is a really funny poem in your Skills book to read. Maybe you could write a little poem of funny things in your soup!
Do you remember what a metre is? It’s about the length of your arms stretched out wide. Can you name 10 things in your house or garden that are shorter than a metre and 10 things that are longer? Write them down and ask someone to check them out for you!
We are delighted to see lots of you have logged into your IXL and Studyladder accounts and are doing great work. If you haven’t logged in yet give it a go you might really enjoy it! Remember you can practise English as well as Maths in IXL.
We hope you are all keeping well and getting some exercise every day. Are you watching the School Hub at 11 o’clock in the morning? It’s really fun and you will learn lots of interesting things. We hope you are helping out at home whenever you can, such as, making your bed, helping with the washing up, tidying up your toys. Remember keep washing your hands and stay at home. Hopefully we will see you all in school as soon as possible.
