Grandparents' Day Celebrations 2016

Today Grandparents from both near and far arrived at St. Oliver's Church for our Annual Grandparents' Day Celebrations. Led by Fr. Hegarty both young and old enjoyed the children's poetry, prayers and singing.  

The Church looked at its very best and many thanks is owed to Elaine Johnson and her team for getting it ready.

On conclusion of the service grandparents returned to the school hall where they were warmly greeted by the Parents' Association who were serving tea and tart. Thank you to all the parents who lent a helping hand and to Sonya and Kathleen for all their effort.

The whole school community had a great day and we're already looking forward to next years celebrations.
