Amber Flag awarded to St.Oliver’s
We are very excited to announce that this school year we have taken part in the Amber
Flag initiative and have been awarded an Amber Flag. This initiative is run by Pieta house and aims to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for everyone in our school community. Positive
wellbeing means feeling good in your body and in your mind. It is also about getting
along with and supporting others, feeling grateful for things in your life, enjoying life
and being proud of the person you are. Positive mental health is important because it
helps us to live happy and fulfilling lives. By being involved in the Amber Flag
initiative, we hope to encourage everyone to be caring and considerate to one
another, raise awareness of different issues that people face in our community today
and how to cope with these issues, improve each person’s own wellbeing and create
and even happier and healthier school environment. Have a look at our award winning application.
